Who are we without our teachers?

I am forever grateful to my teachers, Master Li Jungfeng and Teacher Jing Li, who gave me the gift of the Sheng Zhen Practice.  I am a more gracious, open-hearted, and compassionate person with so much love and understanding for all the people around me. And that is my gift back to the world.

Meet Master Li Junfeng

​

Master Li achieved international fame as a popular film actor, action director, and the coach of the Beijing Wushu team. At the height of his career his success brought him into contact with a spiritual master who taught him a simple but profound meditation technique, the Union of Three Hearts. His meditation practice subsequently led to a life-changing epiphany that planted the seeds of Sheng Zhen Meditation in his heart, and he left China to spread this message of Unconditional Love throughout the world.

Master Li is one of the true living masters of our time. He is the driving force behind bringing Sheng Zhen Meditations, practices of Unconditional Love, into the world. His life is a testament to the value of practicing this system. Master Li travels internationally to train and certify Sheng Zhen Meditation teachers, and to practice or simply spend time with his students. In doing so, he shares his passion, wisdom, humor and love, so that others can also experience the profound joy that permeates his entire being.

Master Li conducts workshops and teacher trainings in countries including Canada, the United States, France, Norway, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Latvia, Israel, Australia, Japan, and the Philippines, among others. 

​

Master Li’s goal is a world suffused with Unconditional Love, in which every person truly loves their neighbor as if they were family. He believes that the practice of Sheng Zhen Meditation is the key to achieving this vision. With regular practice, one comes to experience a Sheng Zhen state: a life steeped in Unconditional Love.

Everything about Master Li emanates a deep and profound love – his kindness, compassion, his joie de vivre, and his seemingly boundless energy and enthusiasm. His heart is as big as the ocean he speaks of in Sheng Zhen teachings – the Divine Ocean that all spiritual seekers strive to reach. To be in his company is an honor and a gift. He lives by the same principles he teaches, and his spirit is radiant. Many who meet him are deeply moved by his presence and return from trainings feeling inspired, renewed, and transformed.

Philosophy of Sheng Zhen Meditation

What is Sheng Zhen?

Sheng Zhen (pronounced “shung jen”) is the highest and most sacred truth. It can be translated into English as "Open Heart" or "Unconditional Love." It is a state of being that can only be understood when the busy mind comes to rest peacefully in the space of an open and loving heart. When the heart is open, the mind naturally calms down, and one automatically enters into the natural state of perfect well-being.

What is Qi?

Qi (pronounced “chee”) is the origin and essence of life. It is the life force energy that animates all things. Qi and Unconditional Love are always connected, never separate. When we gather qi, we are gathering love, the strongest and best medicine.

What is Sheng Zhen Meditation?

Sheng Zhen Meditation is a method of self-healing,  often referred to as  "practices of Unconditional Love." It involves a series of moving and non-moving meditations, all designed to remove stagnant or negative energy and gather positive healing energy (qi). The movements and contemplations of Sheng Zhen Meditation help re-create that deep sense of inner peace we experienced as small children.  As the body softens, and negative emotions are released, one experiences a feeling of perfect harmony with the universe.

Sheng Zhen Meditation has three functions. It strengthens the body, calms the mind by removing negative emotions, and opens the heart. With regular practice, one experiences a renewed sense of joy and purpose, a deeper understanding of life, and more compassion for oneself and others.

How Does Sheng Zhen Meditation Work?

The practice is comprised of gentle, graceful, healing movements and contemplations that stimulate the body's life force energy (qi), producing a deep sense of inner-peace and well-being. Practicing the slow, rhythmic and symmetrical movements of Sheng Zhen Meditation promotes healing unique to each person, and can accelerate other (traditional) healing processes as well. Consistent, dedicated practice harmonizes the body, calms the mind and the emotions, and increases overall confidence, and a general sense of well-being. Ultimately, one can experience a sense of merging with the universe: a feeling of open-hearted Unconditional Love, acceptance, and joy.
